Đậu đũa rửa sơ sạch rồi ngâm nước muối loãng 15 phút, vớt ra rửa lại thêm 1 lần nữa sau đó tước bỏ sơ ở 2 bên đầu quả đậu, thái thành đoạn hơi dài.
Cho nước vào nồi đun sôi rồi thêm 1 thìa cà phê muối sau đó cho đậu vào chần sơ qua, mẹo nhỏ để món đậu đũa xào thịt băm có màu xanh mát mắt mà không bị chuyển màu vàng thì bạn nên chần đậu trước khi xào nhé. Thời gian chần đậu khoảng 1 phút là vớt ra ngay.
Đặt chảo lên bếp cùng với 1-2 muỗng canh dầu ăn, đun cho chảo nóng thì cho tỏi băm vào phi cho thơm sau đó cho thịt băm vào xào, đảo đều cho thịt tơi ra và có mùi thơm. Trút tất cả đậu đũa vào xào chung, nêm muối, hạt nêm, tiêu và nước mắm cho vừa miệng, đảo đều xào cho đậu chín là tắt bếp.
